Hi Ken. I've never made these in an air fryer, but I think you should be able to do it. If you want to try that, I recommend using the air fryer liners sort of like parchment paper with holes in it to keep any of the salmon from falling. Please let me know how they turn out. I think they'll probably be good.

I used a 6-ounce can of salmon to make 4 patties, since it's just for my husband and me. However, you can get a larger can of salmon and double or triple the other ingredients, depending on how much salmon there is. The salmon I got is from Costco, and it's extremely good. However, I've purchased large ounce cans from other grocery stores, and they've been delicious too! Anytime I used canned salmon there was shin and a bony part.
By the time I removed all of that there was hardly any salmon left. Did you find this to be a problem? Hi Mari. If the bone is soft, it's okay to eat it. In fact, it's actually good for you. However, I wouldn't eat it if it's hard and sharp. The brand I bought for the recipe here is from Costco, and there weren't any bones in it. Maybe you can try that. Hi Renee. Notes Tips for the best salmon patties Use canned salmon or cooked salmon flaked into small pieces. Always pat the salmon dry or squeeze out any excess liquid to help the patties stick together better. Add vegetables. But chop them finely. Large pieces of onion, peppers, or celery will make the patties fall apart. Focus on flavor. Add garlic, black pepper, and a bit of Dijon mustard for extra flavor.
