But I missed in the meantime or everything was satisfactory. Our experience at Vertigo 42 was amazing. The staff was really nice and professional, the ambience very calm and the view breathtaking. I had some initial concerns about the given time and found out that it was more than enough.
We had a great time at Vertigo 42 and would definitely recommend it. Tell them you have a groupon if you do, when you arrive. They short changed us on drinks. Said it was the first 6 cocktails. On paying the bill, many others had this same issue. They know people visit with groupon vouchers so should made that clear from the beginning if it was a regular occurrence. Beautiful setting, attentive staff, fine champagne and beautifully presented food.
We have been a few times and the service has always been good. The music today tho really spoilt the ambience. It was loud and too varied. The waitress was very kind. Not upto expectation Bad service Overpriced food Quite disappointing. The view was Amazing, the cocktaits pretty good. The service too. Family visiting from abroad. Nice view, I liked the place.
Very disappointing. Vertigo 42 is a tired asset that is living on a past reputation. We had an excellent view of London and managed to stay until sunset! Great selection of champagnes! Great views, nice service, friendly helpful staff, food nice. Great place for food, drinks and views of London. It was really nice advanture. If is about food. They were so kind and accommodating. View was beautiful and tea was delicious. No one offered to take our coats, had to organise that myself and for what a very special occasion they closed at 11pm on a Friday night which is ridiculous in London.
The music is cheesy pop, at the atmosphere was poor and the service while Ok didn't overwhelm at all. Vertigo 42 is not the place to go if you want somewhere special to spend an evening. It's pot luck where you sit and what you sit on. Very poor experience. Dated environment and awkward way up. Not a place to bring business clients at all. Great view and good service, not cheap however worthwhile. The atmosphere, view and champagne were great.
However service was poor. The member of staff who served us had no idea how to pour the drink in the glasses. But overall my friends and I had great experience. Great view. Staff are very attentive. Plus to that Whats dissapoint me most is all the food items are look so basic and taste like they buyed from a tesco or something , I feel myself like a stupid man while eat them.
On the otherhand ambiance is good and I recomend to go littlebit earlier then your reservation so you may find a better place to sit.
Things are looking tired. Tape on a mirror that was broken in the lavatories. Cushions on the seats that looked old and when one fell off it had tap underneath. Friendly staff, a great view and lovely Champagne. The entrance in is not great now although the security guards were very friendly and helpful.
Good wiew. The music is terrible very high house music and it doesent fit the bar. I will recomand Vertigo 42 to my friends for sure is such a lovely place with very nice view! Excellent position for viewing London. Comfortable seating and a lovely atmosphere.
Food not wonderful but ok for the price. Friendly and efficient staff. Only let down was a service charge on a Groupon coupon which was given as a presentand thus no food to pay for.
